✧ Sacred Space for Women ✧

Each NewMoon we gather, as women have gathered for thousands of years, to take a moment to return to our natural rhythm and our instinctual selves, our more poetic nature. We step back from the daily loudness, the daily noise, and the fastness of life, and we enter into the ancient current of feminine wisdom and ceremony.

The MoonLodge is born of traditions, old and new, carried in our bones and whispered through our many bloodlines. It is a sacred space not only to rest, remember, and be renewed, but also to gently heal, to transform, and to awaken our creative power and potential.

✧ What You’ll Experience Inside the MoonLodge

When you gather with us for a MoonLodge, the evening unfolds as a sacred arc of honouring, releasing, and remembering. You’ll experience:

Grounding & Nourishment

We begin with shared food, simple and organic, prepared with love. You are welcomed into a warm, nourishing atmosphere where the table becomes our first gathering. Sometimes women bring something to share and there's always there is a sense of abundance and care.

Medicine Story & Feminine Wisdom

Each MoonLodge carries a medicine story drawn from the seasons, the cycles, and the archetypal wisdom of women. These teachings are living stories and symbols that speak directly to our soul. Through this remembering, we awaken a deeper connection to our feminine essence and to the wisdom that has always lived within us.

Shadow Work & Soul Tending

Together we explore the hidden places — the unspoken, the silenced, the forgotten. This is not therapy, but a sacred form of shadow work held within a ceremonial container. With compassion and presence, we create a field of collective healing, where each woman supports and tends the other on her path toward greater wholeness.

Ritual & Ceremony

Ritual is a sacred art. Here, what we carry is honoure, be released and transformed through carefully crafted ceremony. In this way ritual becomes an embodied prayer, helping us cross from one state to another: letting go, inviting in, beginning, and closing; also linking us to something larger, reminding us that we are part of a greater whole.

Soul Sharing & Closing

The most important part, for every woman carries a deep voice, measured not by how loudly she speaks but by the presence she brings. Speaking is tender, frightening, and it is here that healing begins, in the holding of one another’s vulnerability.

It takes courage and deep listening, and the  healing arises when words are allowed to flow, not from the head but from a deep feeling place within. Here we recognise that our stories are not separate, but profoundly shared.

✧ The Transformation

This is far beyond the “coffee-table"  type of conversation, we do deep inner work and midwifing. We dare to be vulnerable, to speak what is often left unsaid, and to be held without judgment...every story mirrored, every silence honoured.  Women leave profoundly restored, carrying home a renewed sense of dignity, belonging, and embodied power.

✧ Who is the MoonLodge for? ✧

The MoonLodge is not just 'taking a break' or a circle to sit in.
It is a space of soul nourishment, healing, and real transformation.
Every woman who enters is invited to leave more centred, more whole, more at peace.

It is for you if…

✶ You long to step out of the fast pace of daily life and return to deep rest and renewal.

✶ You are ready to sit in a safe container of sisterhood, where every part of you - light and shadow - is welcomed.

✶ You wish to reclaim your cycle, not only as a physical rhythm, but as a guiding force for your soul path.

✶ You are drawn to reflection, storytelling, and archetypal wisdom that awaken clarity and self-trust.

✶ You are ready to take part in ritual and ceremony that opens the doorway to genuine healing and lasting transformation.

❖ All ages are welcome ❖
Whether you bleed monthly or no longer bleed, whether you have a womb or not, whether you are in maidenhood, mothering, menopause or beyond... there is a seat for you here.

✧ What the MoonLodge is not ✧

The MoonLodge is not about escaping life, bypassing pain, or chasing trends.
It's not a performance, nor a place where you have to be anything other than yourself.
It's also not therapy for acute trauma.
What it is-
is a living, breathing container for truth, healing, and the slow alchemy of soul.

  The Details

When

MoonLodges are held monthly, on or just before the NewMoon.

Each gathering is aligned with the cycles, offering a doorway into deep feminine rhythm.

Upcoming dates for 2025: October 21, November 19, December 19. For 2026: January 18, February 19, March 20, April 18.

These dates mark thresholds in the turning of the wheel… each MoonLodge a chance to  reflect, and step into renewal.

Where

MoonLodges are held in My Sanctuary, Amsterdam, an intimate, warm, and candlelit space, with room for ceremony indoors and, when weather allows, around an outdoor fire.

For certain ceremonies, we gather in a beautiful circular yurt with an open sky-dome. Its round form gathers energy inward, creating a vibration of safety and reverence.

Women describe feeling deeply held in these spaces… there is always a touch of magic here that words cannot fully capture.

Bring

You are welcome just as you are...

And if you feel called, you may wish to bring a few simple items to enrich your experience.

A journal to catch the wisdom that flows. Ceremonial dress (or pyjama ) as an expression of beauty, comfort, joy, and art...each MoonLodge carries a theme, shared at checkout.

You may also bring a dish/desert  for the potluck table…nourishment always tastes better when it is woven together.

Time

We gather at 18:00, beginning with a shared dinner ... a gentle moment to arrive, settle, and connect. This meal opens the evening in community.

The ceremony begins just before 19:00, weaving ritual and reflection with a gentle break in between for integration and rest.

We usually close around 21:30–22:00…

...and sometimes the flow carries us a little longer, always in a way that feels nourishing and complete.

✧ What Makes This MoonLodge Unique ✧

The MoonLodge is not just a women’s circle, for it's  a 'living tapestry' woven from years of practice, healing, and devotion to the wholeness through the feminine path.

Held with Depth & Care: Wen-Wei brings nearly a decade of guiding women through inner transformation. Drawing from therapeutic training (including Gabor Maté’s Compassionate Inquiry, systemic constellation work, and shamanic practice), each Lodge is a space where healing is gently but powerfully invited.

Rooted in Lineage & Tradition: From Hopi Grandmother teachings and Red Tent traditions to Celtic seasonal wisdom, every MoonLodge is anchored in ancient lineages that are renewed for today’s women.

Womb Wisdom: Emerging from Wen-Wei’s own path of exploration and devotion, Womb Wisdom here is not tied to a single tradition but to lived practice and a mystical attunement to the body, the cycles, and the voice as a channel of remembrance of soul and creation. It invites women to reconnect with their inherent feminine creative power in a way that is both esoteric and deeply embodied.

Inner Child Healing: At the heart of the MoonLodge is the commitment to safety. Each circle is held in such a way that the tender, forgotten, or silenced parts of you can come forward with trust. Inner Child work allows women to reclaim innocence, play, softness, and self-acceptance, often unlocking profound transformation.

A Weaving of Feminine Arts: Storytelling, myth, astrology-inspired shadow work, music, and ritual blend together to create multi-layered journeys. No two Lodges are the same, yet each one offers depth, beauty, and transformation.

Born from a Lived Path: The MoonLodge is not theory, but arises from Wen-Wei’s own healing journey her path of dedication, devotion, surrender, and reclamation to wholeness for herself and humanity which continues to guide how she holds women in circle today.

This is more than a circle of sharing. It is a sacred, well-held container where wisdom, healing, and feminine power become embodied and alive.

Angela Gietel

I experience the MoonLodge every time as a warm blanket.
My first participation was together with my daughter, to celebrate her first menstruation. The idea alone already spoke to me. My daughter also experienced it as something very beautiful and positive.

At the MoonLodge you can truly be yourself without judgment, even toward yourself. It is beautiful to receive and to give all this wisdom, experience, warmth, and love.

All of this under the guidance of Wen-Wei, who leads the Lodge from her heart and her convictions. Because of this, both my daughter and I felt free to share openly and fully.

Since the Lodge, I have been more engaged in exploring what I want and who I truly am.
I recommend this journey to everyone. You are worth it!

Esther-Louise Anaïs

have been going to Moon Circles and ceremonies with Wen Wei for over two years now. And I remember the first time going, I had never been to one of those before, and I had no idea what to expect. A friend of mine that used to go to Moon Circles quite often took me there and introduced me to a Moon Circle with Wen Wei.

And I remember the first time as a very beautiful surprise where it was a mixture of many different things; part coming together with a group of women, being safe in whatever you had to say, that it would be listened to, that you were heard, that you can also feel held and you can give the same to others.

It was also part transformational, a mix of mythology, storytelling, sound, music, song, and ritual. All done in this very unique way that only Wen Wei can create.

I remember feeling that way the first time, and I still do to this day, and it's more than two years later.
Even my friend who used to do Moon Circles all the time, I remember her telling me after that first time that she brought me there, it was even unique to her, and that was very specifically towards how Wen Wei hosts these spaces for women.
So very loving, very unique, and I would recommend it to anybody.

I' ve had the honour to experience the first Sacred Woman’s Year Course provided by Wen Wei. Sharing for the first time her wisdom as a teacher cannot have been easy, but to me it felt like she had been doing it for years. I learned a lot about sacred feminine practices, but most importantly it was a deep inner journey. If I had to explain what made the course unique it would be that it weaves in a wide variety of practices and that it prepares you to be able to hold sacred space. She made sure we would meet our own shadows so we had a chance to heal and through experience learn how to support a healing space for other women. It was a very holistic course, be prepared to grow all parts of you: body, mind, connection with others and spirit.
